When J’s mom called me she told me she wanted to take some newborn photos with family keepsakes, I knew this was going to be a special session.
Mom said that they wanted to capture J with things that were meaningful to both parents. I loved this idea because it was something they would cherish forever.
It was important to them to show their culture, special places, a significant number, a wedding rosary and wedding rings in their photos.
I love how we incorporated a rosary from their wedding and their wedding rings with sweet baby J. They wanted the keepsakes to be what you saw when you looked at this picture.
Her dad lived in Hawaii, he wanted to show his love for this magnificent state. He picked the keepsakes that would help symbolize this.
Mom had a special number 22; the year she was born, the day this baby was born, and a number for her sports. She had collected shirts that she wanted us to use for photos. It is a great idea to incorporate a newborn session with family keepsakes to symbolize important things for the parents.
Lastly, the family dog was to be used in these photos. They wanted to show baby J how much he also loved her. This dog was a great sport and just posed on the bed with the three of them.
I love how this session turned out. I know they will cherish their newborn session and how their family keepsakes were also a part of this session.
