Do you have stuff you wish you were better at? One of my biggest areas to work on is Blogging these amazing sessions… I have had some fabulous sessions; newborn, maternity, seniors and families.. I want to share these images with all of you. I want you to fall in love with these sessions just like I did… In the next few days, I will be updating this site with all of these images. I also promise that I will continue to work on this, blog each session as they happen, share these memories with all of you…. What do you wish you were better at?

This little one just absolutely amazes me with her creativity..   One day we are creating a pirate ship out of a box, the crown jewels of England, a tv from a girl scout cookie box, to her own boxing gloves to fight her brother made out of socks and dominoes.  I knew when I was going to do a photo shoot to celebrate her, we  had to encompass her creativity.    We got crayons, her mask, paint, paper, scissors and glue and set out.   We found an empty field with flowers (flowers were important), set up her teepee and I let her go.   I wanted to make sure I captured her thinking of her next project, her eyelashes which are to die for, her art and her spirt.   She turns 7 next week..  I could’t have asked for a better one to complete our family.2015-03-31_0001

One of the main reasons I started my photography business is that I absolutely loved doing photo shoots with my own kids…   I remember taking them out into the backyard and creating mini- shoots with them.   My kids have grown up with a camera in their face..  My girls absolutely love it!!  My son’s photo shoot will be up in a few days, he doesn’t love my camera capturing him as much.    I took my kids out for this special photo shoot.   My oldest daughter turned 13 and I wanted to capture this special time in her life.   We had such a fun time planning this shoot with her.  I knew I wanted a tutu for something fun, she wanted a fancy dress and we both added the balloons!!  I loved how this turned out.  I am so proud of this girl…  she had such a bright future ahead of her.

One of my favorite things to do is capture Seniors..   They are in such a fun and exciting time of their lives. They are so ready for that next chapter.  I have known Mia since she was in 1st grade.  She has blossomed into a beautiful, vivacious and fun girl.  I know that her next chapter at Texas State will bring her so many rewards, adventure and memories.  I wish you the best Mia Webb!!miablog

I have never been so happy to see the sun.  It feels like we have had rain for a month straight.  I can’t wait to see the flowers bloom, the blue sunny skies and my calendar filled with photo sessions.   I am almost done updating this site,  a few more tweaks and it will be all up ready to go!!    This is a busy week of photo shoots; maternity, senior, family and a newborn!!  I will have images up this week from all these sessions…  until then..  lets all go enjoy the start of spring!
